Platinum Pursuits key team member

Daniel Kertcher

Daniel KertcherPlatinum Pursuits was created by Daniel Kertcher in 2001 as the perfect vehicle that combined two of his passions in life: educating people and sharing his wealth knowledge. Daniel conducts and facilitates all of Platinum Pursuits' live courses held around the country personally. He wouldn't have it any other way.

Daniel Kertcher’s story begins in Toronto, Canada. An entrepreneur from a young age, Daniel recruited people for his paper route business at 11 years old! At 16, he moved to Australia with his family. Here he gained a Bachelor of Science, majoring in neurophysiology. In 1994, Daniel decided against studying a Masters and PhD in neurophysiology and instead became a licensed real estate agent. He opened an agency with his mother and was involved in most facets of property – development, investment, onsite management, sales and maintenance.

Four years later, Daniel became fascinated with the stock market. He had met two stock market experts who taught him everything they knew and became his mentors … and then his business partners when they decided to start MetaShare International, a stock market training company with offices in Australia and New Zealand. Daniel is a fully accredited options, derivatives and futures advisor.

In 2000, Daniel had the great privilege of meeting Anthony Robbins, the famous American motivation coach. After completing Anthony’s courses, Daniel was inspired to sell his shares in MetaShare and retire. However, in early 2001 Daniel was invited by Tony Robbins to teach options trading at their inspirational Wealth Mastery course, and hugely complimented, Daniel decided that he was too young to retire and again started to teach. It was then that Platinum Pursuits was formed. Today, Platinum Pursuits has taught over 10,000 people the most effective strategies for trading the USA and Australian stock markets.

Throughout his career, Daniel has presented hundreds of educational seminars and has been a keynote speaker at many events including Anthony Robbins’ Wealth Mastery, Brad Sugars’ Billionaire in Training, Pat Mesiti’s Millionaire Mindset, as well as running training sessions for Jakarta Stock Exchange, Singapore Stock Exchange, Hong Kong Stock Exchange.

Daniel has also authored several books, including the bestselling Taming the Beasts: Secrets to Profit in Volatile Bull and Bear Markets, and articles for various prominent publications in Dubai, Singapore and Australia, including the Herald Sun. Daniel is currently a regular features writer for Wealth Creator magazine.

Brad McFadden, Senior Investment Manager

altBrad has been actively trading financial markets since 1985. Brad graduated with degrees in finance and marketing and holds a Masters of Finance degree from the University of Auckland. Brad’s career began with a Japanese trading house where he traded commodities in New Zealand and Tokyo for 6 years. Prior to joining Platinum pursuits Brad worked for a major South African investment bank for 10 years  where he was Chief Market Technician and strategist for a large proprietary global macro fund, trading in currencies, commodities, global equities and options.

Brad hosts fortnightly webinars for graduates of Platinum Pursuits taught courses. In these webinars, he comments on the strategies taught by Platinum Pursuits. Brad heads up a team of analysts within Platinum Pursuits who actively trade company funds in the financial markets and employs the Platinum Pursuits taught strategies. We make these trades available for our subscribers to view on a daily basis.

The fortnightly webinars are attended by hundreds upon hundreds of past graduates who are loyal followers of Brad's market analysis. This service is available for all graduates of Platinum Pursuits courses on an ongoing basis at no extra charge.

Brad’s passion is not only making money but in helping others to successfully trade on the primary trends of world financial markets and to look for value on a global scale where no one else perceives it. On the weekends Brad can be found in his canoe, paddling his boys and dog around the Sydney harbor or exploring old gold mining ghost towns in Australia and New Zealand.

Brad often gets mistaken for David Koch (Kochie) from Channel 7's Sunrise program. The funny thing is, Brad's knowledge of the financial markets is far superior to Kochie's so it makes for a funny time when Brad plays along.

Sean Lim, Investment Analyst

Sean Lim Platinum PursuitsSean graduated from the University of New South Wales with a Commerce degree majoring in Finance and Actuarial Studies. While working with Platinum Pursuits, he is also completing his Masters degree in Quantitative Finance at the University of Technology, Sydney. Sean’s background in Mathematics has helped him grasp complex Options models and more exotic Options strategies.

Sean’s trading career is relatively fresh with four years of experience. His passion for trading grew even stronger after joining Platinum Pursuits and working alongside professional traders like Daniel Kertcher and Brad McFadden.

Sean assists Brad with his daily analysis of the market and with new trading ideas. He often comes out with ideas that Brad would term “kooky” but will also produce the occasional gem of a trading idea. Sean helps to publish the TradeAbility Traders Report and lends support to the thousands of traders who have been taught by Platinum Pursuits.

While not trading on his laptop or beavering away in his textbooks, Sean can be found on one of the beaches around northern Sydney trying feebly to surf. During winter he will try his luck snowboarding in the Snowy Mountains.
